Three reasons I wear the cross:
1. Wearing the cross is an easy way to "confess Jesus" as required by Matthew 10-32.
2. Gives me a constant reminder that God is in control of my life.
3. An inexpensive way to tell others that God is a part of my life.

Discussion thoughts... scriptures tell us what God will do for us when we keep his commandants... our land will yield its crops; we will live securely; we will have peace in our land; and many other promises.  Wearing a cross is a constant reminder to ourselves that we need to keep his commandants; and it is a "notice" to others that we are a "believer", that God is a part of our life and that we intend to keep his commandants!

Personal testimony... when you wear the cross, interesting things happen (here is one of several "feel good" incidents that happened to me because I was wearing a cross).  When "working out" at the Y... a young man (complete stranger) approached me and asked if I would pray for him... we talked for awhile and found that he had a drinking problem and his wife had left him... he said he was now sober and was hoping to get her back!
